Brazil Incorporates Uruguay

After four years of fighting, Uruguay was annexed to Brazil in 1821. After a three-year fight, a peace treaty between Argentina and Brazil was brokered by Britain and signed on August 28, 1828 guaranteeing Uruguay's independence.
