Installed, Dissolved, Banned

On June 28, prior to the provincial elections in Buenos Aires, a military junta overthrows Illia, imposes a Revolutionary Statute that is superior to the Constitution, and installs Ongania in the presidency. The Congress and the Supreme Court are dissolved and all political and labor union activity is banned.
